Objectives

Objectives of Foundation for Environment Research, Nasik (FERN)
1) Set up a wildlife field research station at Village Nandgaon Koli, District Nasik to document and study the bio diversity of the western ghats in and around Nasik district.

2) The station aims to provide complete set of research facilities and provide logistics for researchers all over India and the world who work in the field of conservation science. We aim to be a part of a wider network of research bases in the western ghats of India.

3)To work on identification, conservation, reforestation and protection of endemic tree and plant species of the western ghats in and around Nasik district
